For Sale: 1984 Mercedes 300GD or Gelandewagen. This vehicle has been very well preserved and has been used as a daily driver for the past several months. Clean and clear Alabama title. It has the famous 5 cylinder 617 N/A diesel engine, 4 speed automatic transmission and 5-door long wheel base model 300GD. Odometer reads 71, 000 KM. This is a European VIN and ebay does not recognize. It is VIN#46033317901136 (attached VIN tag). There have been no real issues for me with this G. It is a marvel of German engineering and runs like a top. The G is still built by hand as it has been for over 35 years. Parts are not difficult to find and being so well-built and mechanically sound - it is very easy to work on as well. Many parts are the exact same as 2014 G-class (and the exterior is remarkably similar)!
